Renowned as Canada's "City of Gardens", Victoria and its gardens burst into bloom year round. Your tour will include an introduction to the historic downtown and a visit to the famed Butchart Gardens. On this excursion, you will: |

Arrive at the gardens where your guide will provide a look into how the Butchart Family transformed the gardens from a barren rock quarry to what it is now.

Use multi-language maps to help you conduct your self-guided tour of the colorful gardens. |

Continue your journey via Chinatown, welcomed by the Gates of Harmonious Interest, and passing by Canada's narrowest street, Fan Tan Alley. |

Proceed to the Inner Harbor framed by some of Canada's most recognizable landmarks, the majestic Parliament Buildings and the ivy-covered Empress Hotel. |

Note: Order of sights may vary. Walking time and distance is at each guests discretion. In the month of May/Mid June & Mid August / Mid September, arrival at the Gardens is in the dark. The Gardens are stunning in the evening / late evening when illuminated by thousands of hidden lights. The Gardens are NOT floodlit. |

Note : To fully appreciate the castle, please be advised that there are 89 steps throughout the castle. A small flight of stairs lead in and out of the castle with the remainder being internal, leading to the different floor levels. |
