Next, enjoy views of heart-shaped, palm-fringed Megan’s Bay (one of the top 10 beaches in the world) from Drake’s Seat before continuing to St. Peter Great House and Botanical Gardens, once the haunt of the rich and famous. This is a magnificent Caribbean estate, featuring stunning views, classic Caribbean architecture and vintage furnishings in a beautiful, tropical setting. Enjoy a refreshing complimentary rum or fruit punch and stroll the lush grounds, perched 1,000 feet above the ocean that is home to more than 100 varieties of tropical fauna. Note: Guests ending the tour in Charlotte Amalie are responsible for their taxi fare back to the ship. Tours departing in the afternoon do not have the option of remaining in Charlotte Amalie for shopping. There are steps at St. Peter Great House. The Botanical Nature Trail includes two flights of stairs down and two flights of stairs back up. Mountain Top has a flat entry and easy access for those who are mobility impaired..

Enjoy a trip to St. John and visit some of its National Park trails. Fabulous flora and fauna surround you on this approximately two-mile hike through the lush natural forest. Hike up to Lind Point and enjoy views of St. Thomas and the British Virgin Islands. You’ll be given an informative history of St. John and listen to the tales of Bluebeard, Sir Francis Drake and the legendary pirate days. Descend to beautiful Honeymoon Beach to relax and enjoy a refreshing dip in the turquoise waters before continuing on a short botanical walk to the ruins of Caneel Bay Plantation. Note: Participants must be at least 7 years of age, weigh no more than 275 lbs., in good physical condition and able to walk over uneven terrain in a tropical climate. Ferry is an approximately 45-minute ride each way. Wear your swimsuit and bring a towel.

Enjoy a scenic ride to breathtaking Drakes Seat, with stunning views of the nearby British Virgin Islands. Celebrated as one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world, Magen’s Bay is the perfect getaway. Enjoy approximately two hours on this one-mile, palm-fringed white-sand beach. On the beach there are showers and restroom facilities and snack bar. Note: Beach chairs and floats are available for rent at an additional charge. A credit card is required for rentals. |

See the harbor, cruise ships, and the hillside town of Charlotte Amalie. Allow time at the top to catch your breath and relax. Soak up the views on the scenic Skyride to Paradise Point. The Skyride takes you approximately 700 feet above sea level to one of the most amazing views in the Caribbean. Enjoy a panoramic vista of the harbor, cruise ships and the hillside town of Charlotte Amalie. The round-trip Skyride ride is 15 minutes, allowing plenty of time at the top to relax with a frozen drink or lunch. The Skyride is located directly across the street from the Havensight Mall. Come at your leisure, as the Skyride runs continuously. tour is not recommended for pregnant women and guests with back and/or neck injuries. All participants must sign a waiver form. |
