Up and down, this tour has St. Maarten covered. Start from Dutch Philipsburg, then drive to Grand Case, where you board a semi-submarine for a narrated tour of the coral reefs. Watch when dangerous moray eels surround a diver. Then back to shore and to Marigot where you explore and shop.  This tour combines the best St. Maarten has to offer, both on land and beneath the ocean's surface. Depart Philipsburg on the Dutch side of the island, and drive up the eastern side to the second largest town in St. Maarten - Grand Case. Here you’ll board a semi-submarine for an approximately 45-minute narrated tour of the coral reefs surrounding Creole Rock. The highlight of the trip is when a diver is surrounded by schools of fish and dangerous green spotted moray eels. Back on shore, your tour continues to the French capital of Marigot, where you’ll have time to explore this attractive port city with its sidewalk cafes, open-air market and duty-free shops.

More colors than the rainbow. St. Maarten's marine world boasts a stunning sea life and tropical fish all visible from an underwater observatory. The Seaworld Explorer semi-submarine waits your arrival at French Grand Case and then heads for Rocher de Creole. A diver leads the fish in front of your window. View the stunning sea life and tropical fish of St. Maarten's marine world, in the cool comfort of a cruising, underwater observatory. Departing Philipsburg, your overland transfer takes you through the mountainous middle region to your destination into French Grand Case. Once onboard the semi-submarine 'Seaworld Explorer', our guide will entertain you en route to Rocher de Creole. Here, a daring diver surrounds himself with clouds of brilliant-colored fish, leading them alongside the viewing chamber for you. Sea turtles, eels, barracudas, and stingrays are just some of the reef residents that you'll spot. Before returning to your ship, relax on the upper deck, quenching your thirst with an island punch while enjoying the scenery across the channel to Anguilla.

Natural Wonders

Got salt? Travel along Philipsburg’s natural salt ponds and learn how important they are to the eco-system. Next try to see all the 80 different species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates at St. Maarten Park. Enjoy a drink at the Monkey Bar then continue to the Oyster Pond. Experience the full beauty of natural St. Maarten on a tour that takes you on a journey of discovery. After boarding your air-conditioned bus at the dock, make the scenic trip to some of St. Martin’s best ecological attractions and areas. Travel along Philipsburg’s natural salt ponds as your guide provides interesting information regarding the importance of the salt ponds to the eco-system. Then arrive at the St. Martin Park where a guide will introduce you to some very unique residents, including an amazing array of parrots - blue and gold, green-winged and scarlet macaws. See the Caribbean and American tropics come alive, with 80 species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates displayed in a tropical, garden setting. After enjoying a beverage at the Monkey Bar, your tour continues through the mountainous middle region, and heads for the area of Oyster Pond. Along this picturesque eastern coastal road, you can view St. Barth’s, Tintemarre, and the many smaller islets that dot the Caribbean Sea. A brief stop allows you to climb a small wooden lookout at Baie D'Embouchure. Your guide will discuss the environmental importance of the reefs and the mangroves that can be seen from this area before heading back into the interior, passing mangrove colonies along the way. Your well-informed guide will continue to point out interesting facts about the island’s flora on fauna including the interesting medicinal use of island 'bush tea'. Your tour continues on and skirts the eastern shore of Simpson Bay Lagoon before starting back towards Great Bay. From the vantage point at the top of Cayhill, the islands of Saba, Statia, St. Kitts, Nevis and Anguilla are all visible. Enjoy a brief photo opportunity here as your guide discusses the geological details of St. Martin including the history of its formation millions of years ago. You’ll then head back to Philipsburg, passing Belair Fresh Pond which is fringed with mangroves and home to 19 species of Avifauna.

ATV Quad Adventure

Tour St. Maarten on an ATV! Your convoy will take you through rough terrains and lush countryside. Enjoy the beautiful beach and its facilities before starting your engines again for a return ride to base camp. Tour St. Maarten on an ATV! Your convoy will take you through rough terrains and lush countryside. Upon meeting at the pier, you are transported to the ATV staging area, whereupon arrival, you will receive a welcome and safety orientation before heading out on your adventure. The convoy tours along the coast over to Orient Bay, where the terrain switches to that of a sandy beach. Enjoy the beautiful beach and its facilities before starting your engines again for a return ride to base camp. Note: Participants must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license. Due to the nature of the tour, previous driving experience is recommended. Combined weight on ATV is 400 lbs. This tour is not recommended for pregnant women and guests with back and/or neck injuries. All participants must sign a waiver form.
